it's gaijin corner at kofu library- me, my flatmate, and, uh, two mormons internetting.
i've set myself a deliberate challenge to make kofu interesting: sure, anyone can feel they live an exciting life in, say, tokyo- but in kofu, that's the challenge that makes it fun...
so far it mostly involves wandering late night, watching everything, listening to the same mixtapes over and over, and to the water that runs under the streets, to the sound of karaoke leaking from blank buildings and the hum of drink machines. walking and making sentences in my head, walking until i'm tired and clammy, then stopping off at a fast food chain to drink unlimited herbal tea refills like some lost decaffenated beat poet or something.
mostly it works. but today i feel like i'm moving through sludge, the hot humid air or sad settling in my bones.
but i think it will storm today, and soon it's my weekend.

Interesting blog. You make some good points. You might be interested in weight loss herbal tea. There's a vague connection to what's been discussed here.
